No mention of the EU, etc, you’ll notice. I don’t think I even was anti-EU when I made this… This level of "politics" is what will be seen in the print edition of the final re-make. Interestingly the helicopter is almost identical to that in the original 1997 version of The Gun.

In the original version, both sides used the same uniform conventions, with "squares" for rank (which looked more like medal bands) and their sides logo on the chest, and the soldier’s name written across the helmet. As you can see I tried to introduce a bit of variation here. The Stealth force guys use a mixture of guns, just like in the old stories where people where armed with all sorts of weaponary. Nice gore, mind.

A mild disclaimer in the credits box. I think I had a vague memory of the Wolves logo when I first drew the gun, but the similarity didn’t really occur to me. In the backstory page I decided to concoct a backstory explaining exactly why Wolf Force had a Wolverhampton Wanderers-like logo. But then decided to ditch it and make them the UNA instead. Wolf Force will still feature in whatever I make concerning the 2014 revolution though, be it an RPG, Doom wad or even comic XD

Those "Mini Gunships" look like Wolf Force ones from the old story "The J Zone". Gunn laments "always" being stuck behind enemy lines on his own (I was going to do a re-make of the Prequel at one point, though he had backup in that!). "Ma Meikun" would have been my name if I was Chinese XD
